Tuna pasta salad
We live in a world where we are super busy, and we don’t have too much time to cook anymore. But, we DO want to eat a healthy & tasty meal. AND even better, a meal that is also relatively cheap, right? Then you came to the right place! All my recipes are super easy to make & also fit into a normal food budget.
Today, I share one of my favorite recipes with you; tuna pasta salad! This cold pasta salad is very easy to make, it’s nutritious & delicious! It’s also easy to take with you to work, all you need is good tupperware and a fridge where you can keep the salad cold.
Ingredients:
- 50g whole grain pasta (uncooked)
- 1 can of water-based tuna
- 50g unsweetened corn from a can
- 1 tomato
- 1/3 cucumber
- 1/3 bell pepper
- 1 hand of arugula
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Pepper & salt
How to make it:
- Wash all vegetables and cut them in thin slices/strips
- Cook the pasta as mentioned on the package
- Put the corn and tuna in a sieve so all the fluids are drained
- Drain the pasta, rinse it with cold water and add the olive oil
- Mix everything together and add pepper & a bit of salt
Enjoy!
